The Real Amber!
Our daughter had a wonderful day today. She was visited by a real live Amber. Our daughter was so enthralled with the stray cat that came to visited that she didn’t want to ever get up to come inside to eat her lunch. Later on in the evening of the same day, Amber came back to visited with us once again. Originally, our dog, chased her up our willow tree and our daughter became excited and I had to go get her down out of the tree. She initially ran into the soybeans but she immediately turned around and came back to us. She wanted some attention.
The next morning we woke up and discuss whether or not we will ever see “Amber” again. At 9:30am just before getting ready for church we heard a big “Meow”..”Meow”. So, our daughter instantly was excited and we all went outside to see her. After church we bought some cat food and she ate and ate. She was obvisiously not a feral cat. Later that night, I could not sleep and went to the sliding glass door to see if I could see her. I could because the moon was full. I also saw a coyote in the backyard about 20 feet from her. Now, I had a really hard time sleeping.
I talk to my sister the next day and she immediately came of a got the cat for fear of the coyote returning that night. We thought she was about a year old but the vet said that she was between 3 and 5 years old. She is technically a yellow tabby cat in which females are rare. Most yellow tabbies are male. She is a beautiful cat and if I weren’t allergic to cats we would have kept her.
